I so want to make this dress from the pattern in this auction... Has anybody bought pattern from this seller ? How good are they ?

And I was indirectly remembeed by [livejournal.com profile] isiswardrobe yesterday that I'm still waiting for my 18th century embroirey techniques copy. Which I ordered on the 7th of May.... *grumbles*

I just bought a pattern from her, and the seller was wonderful! The pattern pieces are great once you trace them from the jumble (if you don't mind altering them a good bit if you aren't a small size), but the directions are pretty useless - even if do translate them from French. It's a pretty challanging way to work, but well worth it IMHO to get something really authentic.

I've worked with the jumble before - actually, I have a book full of turn of the century jumbled undergarment patterns. I still have to make insane amount of alterations to my TV bodice (arf). I think I may console myself for not going to Vaux with a pattern...
