Sewing laziness

green_marthaI haven't done much since yesterday. I'm still working on that damn cloak. Who would have thought that ? Doing some fancy closures seemed just the right thing to do yesterday... and now it still isn't finished. I *want* to get it done at last, so I can start on my stays !
Note from self : you still have the jacket hanging on your dress dummy, remember ? The poor thing wants sleeves. And a lining. And buttons. And buttonholes. And and and...
I really should do the jacket first. Otherwise, knowing myself, it will just wait for ages til I finish it, if I ever finish it.
Tonight, I have invited a few friends for dinner, plus my sister and her boyfriend. So 1° I have some cooking to do and 2° my sister will take the measurements for the stays and 3° I won't be able to do any sewing right know.
And my cat is lying on my desk again. Looks like she's in love with the closures for my cloak, yesterday she was watchnig the one I was sewing as if she intended to chase and eat it. And know she's just purring like crazy on it. ^^
