Guess who has a few Frances Grimble books on their way to her, now ?
The blocks had better be worth the fuss, though...

This is the last bit of engraving I did, BTW, just drypoint and sanding paper on unpolished offset zinc.

It is wonderful to have a husband like that! Mine is similar. Yesterday he handed me a postcard that came in the mail for a large shoe store that was $20 off of a $49 purchase. He handed it to me and said, "That's a good deal. You should buy some shoes." Yay!

I hope you bought the books used. Frances Grimble is truly horrible human being. I have vowed never to add a single cent to her purse in my life and I always urge others to avoid supporting her as well.

She is infamous on the h-costume email list for being a downright nasty bitter name-calling bitch, to put it bluntly. Think of the typical internet troll and you have her in a nutshell. She has said right out that she doesn't give a shit if she alienates any of her potential customers with her behavior, because she sells to "warehouses" which then sell her books to resellers. I'm not alone in refusing to ever buy a book of hers.

Oh wait... this will help you to understand her a bit. You know Bjarne is a total sweetie, right? She has his emails blocked. She has stated this on the h-cost list so if he starts a conversation that others answer and she wants to participate in, she has to ask what the original email was about.

Wow ! I'm afraid I bought the books new, but I think that's going to be the last ones I buy from her indeed o_O
