Progress report - day 3
Dec. 17th, 2006 11:16 pm(I was on some Wii drugs yesterday and counted 3 days instead of two, bummer...)
I haven't done as much as I wanted today. The skirt turned out really too short, as you may remember, so there was a lot of tweaking necessary. It was also to wide in the front (dumb Martha used an early bustle pattern...). So yesterday I took the front and side front pieces in, deemed it okay, and today I took the whole thing apart, salvaged the lining, cut the lining pieces to the new shape to use them as pattern, and as new lining once I'll have pieced them at the bottom. Then I cut out the better and improved sleeves out of the old, too big sleeves I already cut out weeks ago. Cut out the sleeves lining, too.
Add to this something like 6 giant plates of spekuloos, two just as giant plates of chocolate biscuits, some sleeping and some headache, and you have a very full day.
I'm sleepy.
