Finally, Matrioschka #1 is done - for the sewing part. Now I need to find a proper color to overdye it, because babypink is bleuargh, and then iron it properly - which will probably mean buy a new iron. The old one is being lazy to a point where it doesn't iron any pleats away... *sigh*
Tomorrow I'll try to race through Matrioschka #2, and it should be quicker, since it's merely a skirt, maybe I'll sew a tunic to go with it.
And tonight I'mm off to re-watch MiB 2 *happy*

The things that should never happen...
Apr. 24th, 2006 09:39 pmAfter cutting out the pieces and sewing most of them together, I decided I should prewash the darn thing (can't do that with the uncut fabric, far too many meters on the roll), tossed it into the washmachine with some other cotton stuff, washed it...
... it is now a very pale "congrats-it's-a-girl" pink. Yuck. The exact color she told me "anything but that"...
Guess I'll need to dye it, he ?
