One epiphany at a time

I've just discovered a 5/8 inch seam allowance brings me exactly to the line number 5 on my sewing machine, you know, the little marks at the right of the presser foot. Which means it's highly probable there's a 1/8 inch gap between each line and the next one. I suddenly feel like I'm a big genius...

And then I noticed I had already sewn a complete corset with the same seam allowance without noticing. Ahem.
