And so time flies by (eeeek ! already 03:00 !) and I finally get some reading done on my german history programm while pinning and unpinning the seams for the lining of Caramel's jacket. Cthulhu ended around 11:30, it was 12:00 til everyone had gone, but I just didn't want to go to sleep. Maybe I felt a bit depressed, or just like I hadn't accomplished enough today. So I switched the sewing machine on again, and the main work on the lining is done.
On the ranting side :
I assume today just wasn't my day. First no fabric, then access rights problem (it has been fixed by now), then I made a mistake while adjusting the lining pieces and just cut on the wrong mark. Twice. Every time the cut was about 8cm deep. I got them fixed (cause you see, I can't find the lining fabric I had left), in some way, but it looks pretty ugly. Good thing it's the lining, not the fashion fabric ! o_O
I feel much better now I got something *done*, plus I feel I just needed this time of from other human beings, with no one either on LJ, GAIM or IRC. That's weird - when I was with my ex he would stay up till the end of the night and I would fall asleep at ten. Now that I'm single again I've nearly got the same schedule as him - just nearly, I could *not* stay in bed till 11:00 !
