Watching the little one put so much effort into garbling an incomprehensible "word" and two saliva bubbles with so much serious is just the best bad mood repellent. Ever.

I can has a skirt !
Boy, was that hem a nightmare ! The tension tightened itself, I didn't half half enough room to maneuver the skirt, I had to rewind a bobbin and rethread the machine (with a mountain of fabric threatening to engulf me), the hem ended up either gathered or wonky, and in the end I had to redo it all - in parts, but every single area was sewn twice. It was too long here, too short there, the part above the hem ended up wonky... Buuuut it's done !
Sans closures for now, as I prefer to leave them until the last minute (superstitious me... or lazy me ?), and on a dress dummy without tummy padding - it hangs astonishingly well even without it !

The skirt is one layer of cotton (the yellow bit you see peeping out through the side opening), poly-cotton satin (the grey pleats), wool-silk-poly brocade, poly-cotton velvet and a polyester shot something. And it's *heavy*. Ouch ! I think it's heavier than the green wool bustle skirt - probably due to the giganormous quantity of fabric I draped over the back. Not sure I'll do much dancing in this !

Thank you ! The color of the main fabric grabbed my attention from th other side of the street, many years ago, when I went to buy some fabric for a bustle dress. I DID become a bustle dress !!!!
It's more zooming by, actually, he's just "zap-zap, I'm here, I'm there ! I'm on the couch, I'm on the chair !"

Bon, je viens à l'AG (j'ai quand même annulé des cours pour ça, einh...). Bn costume par contre, faut voir l'avancement du schmilblick... Un bon point pour toi si tu arrives à deviner quelle robe au patron monstrueux de Fashion of the Gilded Age volume 1 je suis en train de faire.

Pour le reste, ben j'ai pas payé pour l'opéra, je suis dégoûtée mais les chèques en attente, non, parce que que membre pas membre, bla bla : non. Et le bal, savoir que la Pétasse y était ça m'a refroidie. Et puis j'ai même pas réservée dans les temps pour Angelina, donc, je sais même pas si je serais assise avec vous :((

Donc, je sens que je viens pour rater mon après-midi et surtout voir le nouveau bidon de ma copine :)

Y a pas grand chose à voir encore côté bidon - ça varie selon les jours mais vraiment pas des masses. Baaaan mais si on va réussir à se voir ! (au pire je peux zapper le bal en dernière minute)
