I have started on a skeleton suit buuuut.... this is awfully cute ! My Home Geek would probably eat his figurative hat if he saw me put our son into it and it's more romantic era than Regency but still... awfully cute !

If you are concerned about heat, remember that skeleton suits were often made out of nankeen which is a cotton, but linen, silk and wool also show up. There is a set that has long sleeves that button on. A shirt with neck frill would be worn under a suit.
I have not found a shirt yet, all I have seen are too early or late. RL Shep books have 3 patterns going up to the 1830's

Thank you ! I have a very, very fine cotton, and I'm thinking about cheating and making a fake collar instead of a shirt.
The embroidered frock is incredibly gorgeous !
