How are you doing in the big towns ?

Here at the foot of a wood-covered hill, on th eborder of the city, it's 35° Celsius in the shade. It must be around 37 degrees in town. I'm usually quite tolerant to heat but his it too much. Especially in MAY ! We keep everything closed and the blind half down in the computer/drawing/working room and it's still around 30 degrees in here. The rest of the house is thankfully cooler (only 26), I'm going to flee into the sewing room very soon and work on the baby's sleeping overall. I'm a bit panicky about how far up the temperature can still go in the next two months... Eeeeeep ! I don't want to be 7 months pregnant when it's *over* 35°C outside !

I am currently in Rome, where there has been minimun 30 degrees celsius the last couple of days. Today it is app. 38 degrees. And honestly I love it... I know such heat canbe bothersome for others, but I have never been much affected by heat (or cold) and I have always been fond of the sun. So... I am truly enjoying it.

But being pregnant in such a heat, or having to be in a superheated office or similar... THAT sucks!

38 ° Boy, I'd melt ! I'm glad you're still able to enjoy Rome, though. And a little bit jealous to not be that resistant to heat.

Well, this being Scotland it was 5 degrees at night and I needed my extra blankie, and I now have the heating on, because it's chilly in the house and it's cloudy and only up to 14 degrees outside. Sorry ... but my parents said they ad 31 degrees, too, where they live in Germany.

Can't we balance it between us ? Not that I'd want to turn the heat back on, but a few degrees less might be really nice... And rain. Oh rain, I'd love some rain !
