Some work got done

argyronete's BF's birthday and consequently did not get any actual sewing done. My lil' brother had a four days week-end and came back home with us. So, having him at hand, I re-took (because he's gotten much thinner over the last two years) the measurements I needed for his pirate shirts. On sunday evening we discussed the concept of the 18th century justaucorps he wants, and went fabric hunting on Monday (after work). Monday evening I draped the basic shape on him. I did not go as far on the sleeves as I wanted to, sadly. At some point I just got too tired to go on.
The plan is to have a finished justaucorps mock-up when I come to Paris in Feburary. A shirt would be nice, too.
But for tonight I merely finished taking apart my own cloak mock-up while watching Project Runway (did I mention I <3 YouTube ? I can watch Project Runway ! Yeeehah !). That's not bad considering I'm quite tired and came home at half past seven.
Tomorrow I'm only starting at 11am, so I'll have a little bit of time to sew. And call more possible wedding locations. I want this part of the organisation to be over already I want to move on to more funny stuff : dress, menu, decoration, cards and the like. Hugging the Home Geek. Everything else actually.
I need to find a new name for Provence...
