A kitty in pictures

First : Happy birthday padawansguide !

It all began with drawing the pattern and the subsequent cut out paper result :


That was yesterday. Since then the pattern has been redrawn and improved, the fabric pieces cut out and sewn together, the resulte was then stuffed, sewn closed and a kitty face was embroidered.


Then after a first unsuccessfull attempt at sewing a miniature corset, I resolved to drape it on the kitty doll. No, I'm not doing voodoo !

I have cut out the corset lining and outer shell and will sew them together tomorrow? I also have to figure out how on earth to close said corset (the only reasonable idea I've got are handsewn eyelets... any suggestions ?) and how to bone it, though I think I might be able to split the german boning I have at hand lengthwise for that purpose.


BTW, am I the only one having trouble accessing LJ lately ? Every other time the server is not responding. It's starting to get annoying...
