green_marthaNo, not my usual machine. Dearest Pfaff has decided she wanted to keep those damn threads, so she'll get hauled over to the repair man whenever I can next week, probably on Friday only, as I hardly picture myself carrying the monster to work and then further. I'll have to wait for my break day and drive there, it's just too heavy.
In the meantime, I've miraculously managed to thread the Sphynx Singer and gave it a try. I wasn't holding my breath as the repair man said he couldn't really fix her and the stitches were irregular. Boy ! If that's irregular, the Pfaff definitely is in bad need of repair ! I need to play with the tension a little bit, and pass enough thread through the rusty tension disks so that said thread doesn't go from white to dark brown but otherwise ? She's fine !
Errr... well except for the fact that I have to operate it by hand because no pedal and cord for motor, and the table's pedal needs to be rebuilt. But hey ! pretty machine works !
