green_marthaI think I've got the gaping problem fixed. I'll need to try it on again but there's no way I'm lacing myself into my corset before 6AM.
I also have cut down and bound the front edges of the lining, and unpicked the elbow seams. I'm not sure yet whether I'll just redo them a little further below or just make the sleeves shorter.
On a side note, I love slipstitching :)
