I've finished prying off the sole on the left shoe. Now should I get the fabric and glue and start draping or should I try going back to bed ? Insomnia, how I hate thou...
Well, at least the stomacher now has tabs to pin it on and the cap has a drawstring to tie it on my head. So the time awake wasn't entirely wasted.
And I have of course sliced one of my fingers open while working on the shoe. Who's the clumsy girl ? I am...

ETA : Two soles down. The knife did a good job, not only on my finger. My hands are sore, and I'm going back to bed, will try to sleep again a little while.

What's up eBay sellers ?

I have bought some fashion plates on eBay in the past. And they clearly didn't cost 20 euros each, although it seems now all fashion plates are buy-it-now's between 15 and 20 euros. that's a bit annoying in itself. But 70 euros ? SEVENTY ? Hello ? For ONE plate that I don't even get to see correctly thanks to the new image presentation in auctions ? Are you on crack ? o_O

Half shoes

The front part of both shoes is covered with black brocade. The heel part is cut except for the interlining. I can do it !
Now I'm goign to check again at which time heileen arrives tomorrow and go to bed, and hope the ophtalmologist tomorrow doesn't mess up my eyes for too long and I can be semi-efficient again before the afternoon.
