Yesterday I ironed the skirt pieces for the bodiced petticoat after dark obviously. So I didn't notice the BURN MARKS the iron left. The fabric now has some distinct melted-polyester-turned-solid-plastic marks on several spots. Yeah, of course, 100% linen. Recut them ? Or bet they'll end up in spots hidden by ruffles ? gaaaaaaaaah !

1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two. (Hey, I haven't even started... but then, I don't hav eto vote right now)
2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.
3. Include these instructions, and share the love.

I'm assembling the skirt pieces of the bodiced petticoat. I decided to just recut the one piece that had the worse mark. The others have some yellowing here and there, and feel a little weird on those spots, but I decided to ignore it.
