And as usual, we'll be back at the polling location tonight to count the votes. Thank Goddess we don't have (yet...) voting machines (although those are against our constitution, some are used here and there... *angry face*), so all polling location need at least 4 people to open the enveloppes, read the names out loud and count the vote. This way, every citizen can come in and check that the voting goes according to the law.
The sad part is that they're always short for people to do the counting. And THAT makes me soooo angry. Because the excuse for briging in voting machines is this lack of volunteers. It takes only one hour, to one hour and a half, of your time. Like... twice a year. It's part of your role as a citizen, to control the regularity of the voting process. It's a way to defend our already shaken democracy. And people still can't seem to bother...
