Happy week end
Jan. 21st, 2007 10:30 pm... as in the end of the week, not just the weekend in itself !
It *was* really good, though, not much sewing got done. I did recut the eyelet lace for Demeter's collar and cuffs. Only one cuff remains, and that won't take long. The buttons and buttonholes require me to try the bodice on, which I certainly won't do tonight, but maybe tomorrow. The petticoat pieces are ready to be cut out, but again, not tonight. In fact the only thing I'll do tonight is ... go to bed.

argyronete's today, that we had a friend staying over from friday night to today, and that on Thursday night we went to see The Illusionist, which was frankly amazing. The costumes were good (not exceptional to me, but good nonetheless), the whole visual aspect wes very good, as was the plot. We liked it very very much, and I'd highly recommend it to ... well, anyone.
So, that's it for tonight, I'm tired, working tomorrow, and want to be in town early to change my train tickets for Bustles in Paris (sorry ladies to have been such a bummer about setting a date, reaaaaaally sorry !) - anyway : Goodnight !
ETA : I think I've solved my shoe problem for Vaux, and for now, it has only cost me 10 euros. Now I'm putting my faith in DIY and glue.
