One shouldn't have the opportunity to view pictures of beaaaauuutiful shoes on a monday morning !

My sewing machine has found a new place, on my desk next to my computer. Not much room but I'll make do. 'll just have to learn to keep it very clean and tidy. I haven't done much beside cutting out some pieces for a skirt for y mom and sewing them together. I have to go back to it, since I want to work on other stuff !

But first, I have to sand and wax a new shelf. I may post pictures of my new working and sewing area once it's done ;)

I don't know whether I'll be able to go to the next ball, neither do I know which period will be the them, BUT I'll have a silk dress. Silk. OMG. And cheap silk moreover : a friend of mine makes a trip to China next month, and she's going to bring me back about 10 meters. I asked for somethinr black with butterflies petterns like a silk/rayon brocade I fell in love at ThaiSilks (but can't reasonably afford), don't know if she'll find something similar or if she'll just bring me back some plain black or orange or purple or green silk but... silk ! I'm soooo happy !
