First I got the trendy sheep, but that didn't seem quite right to me...

I went to see Finding Neverland. I liked the movie, Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are both great, as usual, I have been a Peter Pan fan for longer than I can remember, and the whole atmosphere of the movie really caught me. I loved it and will probably get it on DVD someday.
On the costuming side anyway, I was a bit disappointed as I saw more historicism than period stuff. Seems women weren't wearing corsets at the turn of the century after all ^^. But I was only a *bit* disappointed as most costumes were pretty nonetheless. There were many beautiful short cloaks in the premiere scenes. I especially loved the Peter Pan costume (I would reeeeeaaaally love to get a closer look at it. Why can't I put the movie on "pause" in the cinema ?) and Mrs Davies' dress when she explains J.M. Barrie how his visits harm her daughter's reputation, the dark (I think it's navy blue ?) one with button down the front and the sleeves. It remind me of a 1908 dress I loved in Comstume in Detail, looks like not only the comic book Sasmira has taken inspiration from there.
Anyway, the dress looked beautiful even adaptated without a corset, just the kind of thing I would love to wear. I have to get some of my grandma's wool !
