Frustration...

My machine must be possessed by some evil spirit, probably a syndicalist, given how often it will just strike. Without any reason, it suddenly stopped sewing. Needle goes through fabric, comes out, yet no stitch is done. I took everything I could apart, put it back together, and 'lo, it was all back to normal again.
So I go on with my collar.
And notice I don't have any mustard thread anymore. And we're saturday evening, too late to buy some more.

Stays drafting

I sewed together the first draft for my stays. The result is not *so* bad, but a bit short for my taste. I think they'll fit Mademoiselle Fi much better, so I'll leae this draft as is for now and do another try for myself, using the instructions on Madame's Homepage. I drafted the front to my measurements and cut it in paper, and it looks *way* better.
I'm really getting into it now, so I'll probably skip my plans of going to the cinema for tonight.
